LIVE Surgical Skills Course

Content

After the four previous successful courses on September 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 the Orthopaedic Clinic of Patras University organizes a new 3-day course designed for young orthopaedic surgeons interested in further training and exposure to arthroscopy, knee and shoulder surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine. It includes some theoretical background with short lectures along with surgical practice in the operating room in:

- ACL, PCL, PLC reconstruction,

- Dynamic MPFL reconstruction,

- Shoulder instability,

- Rotator cuff surgery, lower trapezius transfer

- Ankle arthroscopy,

- Reverse shoulder arthoplasty, Latarzet procedure

Application

Applications for 4 fellows will be open until 20 August 2022. A short lecture in an interest topic must be prepared by the applicants in case of selection. Please send your cv and level of training at andpan21@gmail.com.

 

Fees

No fees are required for this course but the applicants are expected to pay for their travel and accommodation expenses

A certification of 48h negative COVID test is needed.
